How to Make Play Kitchen CardBoard

Since my daughter and I always stay home, I had an idea of making her a play kitchen made out of cardboard. I just saw the procedures here thru the net and the materials are inexpensive and simple.

What you'll need:

2 matching shipping boxes
ruler
pentel pen
pencil
cutter
paper plate
old shoe boxes
glue gun
glue
basin
paint (optional)
old bottle caps
plastic cover
packaging tape
string

Procedure:

1. Seal each opening, especially the base of the box.

 2. This is optional, Paint the boxes with your desired color. Also paint the old shoe boxes (this will serve as wall open cabinet.)

3. For the sink, I used an old basin. Trace it on top of the box and use a cutter to cut the traced basin.

4. For the curtain below the box, I put a small hole on each end of the box and add the string. Then place an old blanket or any cloth you like.

5. For the faucet and knobs, I used an old soap container and old nutella caps.

6. For the wall shelves, I used old shoe boxes. I attached them using glue gun.

7. For the stove-oven. I used a large pan and traced it at the front side of the box. This will serve as the oven. Then using a cutter, cut the traced area.

To be more realistic, I cut a small rectangle at the cut out oven door. Then tape a plastic cover inside it.

8. For the Stove, I used paper plates and old bottle caps.

9.  Using the glue gun, glue the paper plates on top of the box, then the old bottle caps at the top of the oven door.

10. Glue the old shoe boxes at the end-top side of the box (front of the paper plates). This will serve as shelves for plates or condiments.

11. And it will look like this. Just add the handle at the top of the oven door.

Go make your own, I know your kids will enjoy this!
